Aucamville Escrime

Aucamville Escrime is a fencing club serving Aucamville and the north Toulouse area. Based at the Salle d’escrime on Chemin des Bourdettes, the club introduces members to fencing as both a sporting discipline and a practice grounded in respect and self-control. Its website provides information about the club, classes, registration, becoming a referee, news, photographs, and competitions and rankings.

The club presents Olympic fencing, in which two opponents use a foil, épée, or sabre to score a touch without being touched, alongside artistic fencing, a cooperative form in which partners create staged bouts for an audience. Fencing develops speed, precision, reflexes, coordination, concentration, and tactical decision-making, while emphasizing respect for rules, opponents, and referees. The club’s information also highlights the sport’s physical and mental dimensions, showing that success depends on skill and judgment rather than strength alone. Aucamville Escrime invites people to discover the sport and take part in its activities, with resources for prospective members and those interested in officiating and competitions.
