About Dr. Aud Halbritter
Aud H. Halbritter is an esteemed researcher affiliated with the University of Bergen, specializing in ecology and environmental change. Through his extensive work, he addresses the pressing challenges posed by global climate change and its impact on ecosystems. His research spans three key areas: the intersection of climate change with evolutionary and trait-based ecology, which enhances our understanding of species’ adaptations; the investigation of how global change drivers interact to affect biodiversity and ecosystem functions; and the synthesis of findings across multiple studies to elucidate patterns in global change ecology.
In addition to his research, Halbritter is engaged in educational initiatives, guiding master’s projects within the Ecology and Environmental Change Research Group (EECRG).
