AU Dolphins Racing Team

AU Dolphins is a student-led Formula Student team at Aarhus University in Denmark, created by students for students. More than 60 members from a range of degree programmes bring together skills in engineering, business and other disciplines to design, build, test and improve a single-seat, formula-style race car. The team’s work spans mechanical design, chassis, aerodynamics, powertrain and electronics, turning classroom learning into practical engineering experience.

Competition is central to the project, but AU Dolphins also values learning, collaboration and development beyond race results. Formula Student challenges university teams in both dynamic events, which assess car performance, and static events focused on areas such as business, project management and financial planning. Through this hands-on process, members gain experience across the stages of developing a race car and working as a multidisciplinary team.

AU Dolphins welcomes students from all fields of study who want to contribute and learn. The team also invites sponsors to support its work.
