Gestüt Auenquelle is a German stud farm in Rödinghausen, where Torquator Tasso has stood as a breeding stallion since 2023. The farm presents him as an important addition to German thoroughbred breeding and notes that he was the first Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner to stand directly in Germany. Torquator Tasso, a son of Adlerflug, was purchased by Peter Endres for €24,000 at the BBAG auction in October 2018.
Trained by Marcel Weiss and his team, he achieved three Group 1 victories and two Group 2 wins, along with further Group 1 placings. His career highlight was winning the 2021 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe with jockey René Piechulek. At Auenquelle, he stands alongside the successful German stallion Soldier Hollow.
The farm lists Torquator Tasso’s 2025 covering fee as €20,000, with the terms “1. 10. / 48LF.
” Gestüt Auenquelle provides information about the stallion and accepts enquiries by email or telephone
