Die Thüringer Aufbaubank (TAB) wurde 1992 als Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts gegründet (Thüringer Aufbaubankgesetz). Als Förderbank des Freistaats Thüringen haben wir seitdem zahlreiche Aufgaben in der Wirtschafts-, Landwirtschafts- und Wohnungsbauförderung übernommen. Auch die Umweltschutz- und Infrastrukturförderung gehört zu unserem Aufgabenbereich. Dabei fördern wir hauptsächlich mittels Zuschüssen, Darlehen und Bürgschaften. Unsere Zielgruppen sind insbesondere Unternehmen, private Hausbesitzer, Wohnungsbauunternehmen und Landwirtschaftsbetriebe. Wir unterstützen zudem die Thüringer Kommunen und kommunalnahe Unternehmen in Fragen der Finanzierung.
