Augenklinik Dr. Hoffmann

Augenklinik Dr. Hoffmann is a network of ophthalmology clinics serving patients across Lower Saxony, with a history dating back to 1889. Its locally based eye specialists provide care at 23 locations, combining medical expertise, practical experience and individual attention for adults and children, whether publicly or privately insured.

The clinics offer routine eye examinations, preventive care and assessment of vision problems and eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, inflammation and diabetes-related changes to the retina. Their services span medical and surgical ophthalmology, with treatments for cataracts, retinal disorders and eyelid conditions. Patients can also access laser eye surgery and lens replacement options, including SMILE Pro, Femto-LASIK, implantable contact lenses and refractive lens exchange.

The practice emphasizes modern diagnostic and treatment methods, experienced surgeons and personalized care. In Braunschweig, an open consultation service at Obergstraße 5 allows patients to seek ophthalmic advice without an appointment during designated hours; emergencies are accepted during consultation times. Operations continue at the Wolfenbütteler Straße 82 location.
