Aulea Medical develops technology for urological procedures, with a focus on improving the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Veloxion includes automated fluid management that monitors intravesical pressure and evacuates tissue, active RF power control, and motorized bipolar plasma cutting. Its multi-directional resection design is intended to improve control and reduce procedure time, while immediate tissue evacuation helps maintain the visual field and removes the need for a flush at the end of the procedure. Aulea states that treatment can be completed in about 20 minutes for an equivalent tissue volume, compared with 60 minutes for standard TURP.

The system is designed for plug-and-play use and same-day procedures across prostate sizes of 30 to 200 grams, including in ambulatory surgery centers.
