AuPairCare Live-in Childcare

AuPairCare organizes and supports au pair placements abroad, helping young people experience another culture while living with a host family and caring for children. From the initial application and interviews to family matching, visa preparation and departure, the agency guides participants through each stage. It also provides practical pre-departure advice and ongoing assistance during the stay, including 24/7 emergency support.

The featured programme is in the United States, where au pairs can spend 12 months living with an American host family. Applicants must be at least 18, and the advertised programme price starts at €990. Participants receive accommodation, meals and weekly spending money in return for childcare and light household tasks, with free time to explore and travel. The USA programme includes an online academy to help prepare participants and APC Connect, which offers a group start in New York with a city tour before travel to host families. AuPairCare also offers information events, a free brochure, FAQs and a €150 optional cancellation protection for eligible circumstances before departure.
