Aurora Licton Urban Village (ALUV) is a dedicated alliance of residents, businesses, and organizations committed to transforming the Aurora-Licton Springs area into a vibrant and livable urban environment. The mission of ALUV is to promote a pedestrian-safe community that embraces sustainable growth principles, enhances visual appeal, and supports economic development. Geographically, this urban village is bounded by North 84th Street to North 110th Street and includes Fremont and Linden Avenues to Wallingford Avenue.

Since its designation as a Residential Urban Village in 1994, the area has seen an increase in residential density but still lacks crucial infrastructure such as pedestrian pathways, local businesses, and community spaces. ALUV advocates for collaboration among community members to address these gaps and promote a unified space that benefits all residents.
