Aurum Gallery

Aurum Gallery is an art gallery in Arthurs Point, near Queenstown, New Zealand, presenting a select and changing collection of contemporary representational artworks. Its focus is realism and ultra-realism, with works by acclaimed artists, including Brisbane-based Living Master Gordon Hanley ARCLM. Aurum is one of only two galleries worldwide selected to showcase Hanley’s work, which includes distinctive metalpoint drawings made with precious metals, often pure 24-carat gold. The gallery continues to seek contributing artists while maintaining its commitment to highly detailed, realistic art.

Alongside the gallery, The Framing Studio provides custom framing for pictures, certificates and paintings. The service is led by David Marsh, identified by the business as New Zealand’s only Master Certified Picture Framer. He offers advice on framing requirements, frame styles and available options, drawing on his design expertise. Aurum Gallery welcomes Queenstown residents and visitors to view the artworks, explore framing choices and discuss their projects in person. Together, the gallery and studio offer access to distinctive art and professional framing services in one location.
