About Farm Transparency Project
Farm Transparency Project (FTP) is an Australian animal protection charity that is dedicated to ending the abuse and exploitation of animals in farms, slaughterhouses, and other commercial settings. Through comprehensive investigations, documentary films, and the creation of innovative tools and resources, FTP aims to bring transparency to industries involved in animal cruelty. Established in 2014 as Aussie Farms, FTP gained attention with the release of groundbreaking footage exposing the use of carbon dioxide gas chambers in pig slaughterhouses.
It has since grown from separate campaigns run by Animal Liberation groups in NSW, ACT, and QLD. The organization's websites, including Aussie Pigs, Aussie Turkeys, Aussie Ducks, Aussie Eggs, Aussie Chickens, Aussie Rabbits, and Aussie Abattoirs, together formed the Aussie Farms network. FTP's mission is to educate consumers and shed light on the brutal realities animals experience in the pursuit of profit.
By forcing transparency within industries, FTP strives to create a world where animal abuse is no longer tolerated. Help support their cause and make a difference by donating, volunteering, or shopping at their online store
