About Australian Alpine Club
The Australian Alpine Club (AAC) is a premier organization promoting skiing and winter sports in Australia and Japan. Established in 1950, AAC oversees a network of ski lodges located at key destinations such as Falls Creek, Mount Hotham, Dinner Plain, and Perisher, as well as in the renowned Niseko area of Japan. The club not only focuses on skiing but also highlights the importance of competitive skiing and exploration on skis through inter-club races.
Members enjoy unique benefits, including exclusive discounts on ski and board packages at Hoys, a trusted name in snow equipment rental for over 60 years. Additionally, AAC members receive discounts on premium Australian Merino winter clothing. Beyond winter, the AAC lodges offer summer retreats for members and their guests, making them versatile year-round destinations.
The AAC’s commitment to fostering a vibrant community and enhancing the alpine experience makes it a cornerstone of the skiing culture in Australia
