The Austrian Biologist Association (ABA) is a prominent network dedicated to connecting biologists from various fields and industries across Austria and the EU. The ABA focuses on several key initiatives, including fostering collaboration among professionals, enhancing public understanding of biological sciences, and boosting career opportunities for biologists in the job market. Through communication of relevant biological content and the provision of knowledgeable contacts, the association serves as a vital resource for both members and the broader community.
Additionally, the ABA offers valuable resources such as an online magazine, the bioskop, a job board for biological professions, and engaging podcasts like the "bioskop-Podcast" and "am Puls Biologie." Members benefit from educational events and networking opportunities, which facilitate professional development and support for aspiring biologists. With a commitment to scientific communication and public education, the ABA actively engages the community, inviting individuals to support the association through membership or volunteer opportunities, thus enhancing the profile and impact of biology in society.
