About Austrian Fashion Association
The Austrian Fashion Association (AFA) is an essential resource for fashion designers, businesses, and the cultural sector. Their mission is to advance the professionalization and internationalization of Austria's fashion design scene while fostering the creativity and entrepreneurial ambitions of Austrian fashion designers. AFA provides targeted and sustainable financial and structural support programs for emerging designers as well as the entire Austrian fashion design community.
They offer constant guidance and know-how transfer to strengthen designers' international competitiveness. AFA promotes Austrian fashion through measures to enhance public awareness, press coverage, and trade presence, both nationally and internationally. Founded in 2013, AFA works closely with key partners such as the Federal Chancellery's Art Section and Wien Kultur, the cultural department of the City of Vienna (MA 7).
