Austroads is the association of the Australian and New Zealand transport agencies, representing all levels of government. As a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization, Austroads provides high-quality, practical, and impartial advice, information, tools, and services to help its members deliver efficient, reliable, and safe mobility to their customers. They aim to make mobility safer and more reliable for all users and ensure that transport infrastructure is sustainable and future-proof.

Austroads solves problems for transport agencies in Australia and New Zealand and works towards seamless operations across state borders, bringing national efficiencies to their operations. With about 70 employees, Austroads conducts strategic research, develops and maintains technical guides and tools, facilitates the sharing of knowledge through research outputs dissemination and seminars, and fosters international collaboration. Their globally respected Guides provide practical advice on the design, management, and operation of road transport networks.
