Author Buzz is a UK-based online community designed to bring authors and readers together, while also serving publishers and literary agents. Created by Matt in his spare time as a gift to fellow writers, the platform offers ways for members to connect, share interests and discover one another’s work. Authors can create free WordPress blogs and take part in free forums, writing groups and fan groups. Members can also follow other users, explore community activity and join discussions such as “What are you reading?” and General Chat.

The site provides resources to help authors build an online presence, including an author platform guide, profile and activity-stream information, and a self-directed author interview. Its help and support sections offer guidance on using the community, while site news and acceptable-content guidance explain how the platform operates. Author Buzz also highlights book-related news and invites users to share details of UK book launches. Overall, it combines social networking, publishing-focused resources and community discussion in a space for people connected with books.
