Author's Republic

Author’s Republic is a self-service audiobook publishing platform designed to help independent authors create, distribute, and sell audiobooks worldwide. Authors can choose from several production options, including a narrator marketplace, a fully managed production service, or distribution of a recording produced elsewhere. Once an audiobook is ready, the platform makes it available through a broad network of retail, library, and streaming channels, including Audible, Apple, Spotify, Google Play, Hoopla, and Libby.

The service also provides marketing support, promotional opportunities through its distribution network, and customer assistance throughout the publishing process. Authors can access free promotional codes for giveaways and reviews, while the company says its distribution terms allow authors to take home 80% of earned royalties from sales. Author’s Republic positions its platform as a way to reach listeners across multiple channels, retain control of intellectual property, and manage audiobook publishing in one place. Its website offers tools and guidance for creating and selling audiobooks, along with FAQs, a help center, and educational resources.
