The Hellenic Society for the Protection of Autistic People (EEPAA) is a Greek charitable association dedicated to supporting people with autism and their families. Founded in November 1992 by 80 parents of autistic people from Athens, Piraeus and Heraklion, the organization works to promote care, support and greater understanding of autism. EEPAA operates three facilities: one in Attica, one in Macedonia and one in Ioannina.
Its work includes services through the Seirios Day Centre and the Ariadni II residential facility, as well as creative activities for school-age children in Thessaloniki. The organization also provides educational information about autism, including its characteristics, diagnostic criteria and approaches to treatment. Its website features news, events, articles, videos, books and publications, alongside information about services, legislation and its branches.
EEPAA invites the public to support its work through donations and awareness initiatives, including βLight It Up Blueβ and βI Run for Autism. β Its activities aim to connect families, share knowledge and strengthen support for autistic people across Greece
