Autistic Science Person is a dynamic brand dedicated to empowering the autistic community through education and advocacy. Founded by Ira Kraemer, an autistic self-advocate with a Master’s in Neuroscience, the brand focuses on raising awareness about autism and improving the understanding of autistic experiences among parents, professionals, and the wider society.
Autistic Science Person offers a range of services, including informative talks, consulting on research related to autism, and writing insightful articles that cover various aspects of autism spectrum disorders. The brand emphasizes the importance of accommodating autistic individuals and challenges harmful practices like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Ira's work also touches on critical topics such as sensory sensitivities, non-autistic social skills, and the intersections of autism and gender. Through consultation, advocacy, and community engagement, Autistic Science Person strives to foster an inclusive environment that respects and uplifts autistic voices.
