Autiversum

Autiversum gUG is a specialist autism support organization serving Heinsberg and surrounding communities. Its multidisciplinary team includes educators, psychologists, social workers, and parents of autistic people, bringing professional and lived experience to its work. Autiversum supports autistic people and the families, schools, employers, and other communities around them, taking each person’s wider environment into account.

Its services include autism-specific individual therapy and support, social pedagogical family assistance, and guidance for parents and caregivers. Counseling is available individually, as a pair, or in groups, and can take place in person, by phone, or online. Topics include complex family situations, inclusion, workplace adjustments, and professional supervision for people who work or live with autistic individuals.

Autiversum also provides education and coaching. Programs include training toward certification as an autism spectrum disorder specialist, a short course for inclusion assistants, coaching for autistic employees, students, and trainees, and tailored team coaching for educators and businesses. The organization describes its approach as collaborative, offering support throughout the process.
