Autos Aequitas

Autos Aequitas is an Italian organization that operates daytime educational centers for children, adolescents, and young adults with autism in Sicily. Its centers are located in Alcamo, Marsala, Menfi, Ragusa, Partinico, Termini Imerese, and Lercara Friddi. Each center is supported by a multidisciplinary team and provides structured, individualized pathways designed to develop abilities, encourage social inclusion, and support people in achieving greater autonomy.

The organization’s services include educational and rehabilitative activities, support for managing behavioral difficulties, and personalized plans based on each person’s needs, developmental stage, interests, and emerging potential. Its psychoeducational approach draws on cognitive-behavioral techniques while adapting interventions to individual characteristics and changing needs over time. Through individualized educational plans and life projects, Autos Aequitas aims to promote wellbeing and quality of life, while helping participants engage with their communities. The centers also recognize the challenges faced by families and provide parent training as part of their broader commitment to supporting the wellbeing of the whole family.
