The Bairro da Juventude, located in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, recently received a generous donation of essential furniture from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This donation includes tables, chairs, cabinets, shelves, and whiteboards, which will play a crucial role in enhancing educational activities and serving children and adolescents. The Bairro da Juventude offers a wide range of opportunities in areas such as education, culture, sports, social assistance, professionalization, and integration into the workforce.

It also promotes cultural and sports activities, creating a comprehensive environment for development. To meet the growing demand and provide a quality structure, the Bairro da Juventude launched the CLIC Project – Center for Innovation and Creativity, with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation through playful, creative, and collaborative approaches. This project will benefit 1,600 vulnerable children and adolescents in full-time care.

The Bairro da Juventude expressed gratitude on social media, stating that this generous gesture will have a profound impact on their work, making a difference in the lives of those who will benefit from the inspiring experiences and learning opportunities provided by this new innovative space. The ceremony was attended by Church authorities, including Elder Joni L. Koch – President of the Brazil Area, and representatives from the Bairro da Juventude institution.
