Autrement Soi is a specialist boutique in Bordeaux supporting people during and after cancer treatment. Founded by Catherine Mothes, a former registered nurse with experience in stoma care and wound healing, the institute combines personalised advice with products designed to address changing needs and help clients feel more confident in their bodies.
Services include individual image consultations covering colour, body shape, clothing style, accessories, makeup and skincare adapted to treatment-related skin changes. The boutique offers specialist lingerie and swimwear with pockets for breast prostheses, as well as external breast prostheses selected according to each person’s needs, surgery and lifestyle. It also provides hair prostheses in a range of styles, lengths and colours, together with guidance on selection and care. Other products include turbans, scarves, hats, bonnets and cosmetics.
Autrement Soi aims to provide a welcoming, attentive setting and practical support through and beyond treatment. Consultations and visits are by appointment only, Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
