AV Saatwinkel

AV Saatwinkel 1921 e.V. is a boating and angling club based at Blumeshof in Berlin-Saatwinkel, where it has welcomed members for more than a century. The club’s main fishing grounds are the Tegeler See, a 396-hectare lake with 24 fish species. Members can use the association’s own marina, which provides 30 berths for fishing boats, making it possible to fish from the water rather than rely on the shoreline.

Angling is complemented by a commitment to aquatic stewardship and conservation. The club organizes fishery management events as part of its environmental responsibilities, alongside shared activities such as the opening and closing of the fishing season and regular workdays. Members also have access to a clubhouse with a gathering room and lake views, casting practice, and several club-owned stand-up paddleboards.

AV Saatwinkel welcomes interest from young anglers and is working to grow its youth section. Prospective members and visitors can usually meet club representatives at the open grounds on Saturday mornings.
