AV Stolpe e. V. is an angling club founded in 1990 by a small group of anglers, originally under the name AV Bornhöved v 1990 e.
V. The association brings together adult and young members who share an interest in recreational fishing, local waters, and club life. Following the transfer of Stolper See to the State Angling Sports Federation and the municipality of Stolpe, AV Stolpe became the lake’s sole lessee.
Over the years, the club has also leased part of Westensee, where members can fish across 629 hectares. Its website provides information about membership and applications, club activities, current notices, leadership, and fishing waters. Members can take part in community fishing events, youth activities, scheduled work duties, and other gatherings.
The club also holds regular board meetings and offers a Sunday anglers’ meeting at its clubhouse. AV Stolpe serves as a local organization for anglers, supporting shared access to fishing waters and opportunities for members to participate in an active fishing community
