Avalon Disability

Avalon Disability Services provides person-centred support for NDIS participants in South East Queensland, helping them navigate their plans and make the most of their available supports. The service emphasises compassion, empathy, safety and participant choice, working alongside individuals to enhance their quality of life and participation in the community.

Services include NDIS Support Coordination, which helps participants understand their plans, plan and coordinate supports, connect with suitable providers, and establish and maintain services. Avalon also offers community activities and group services, as well as capacity-building support for independent living. Assistance may include developing life skills and exploring support options for people living alone or in shared arrangements, including Supported Independent Living.

Avalon aims to help participants identify what is working, consider new opportunities, build independence and prepare for changes to future plans. Support is tailored to each person’s needs and goals, with attention to relationships with family and friends and to finding services that achieve meaningful outcomes.
