AV Avalanche

Aliso Viejo Avalanche Hockey Club is a Southern California youth travel hockey organization serving players from 8U through 18U. The club provides a supportive program where young athletes can develop their hockey skills, grow in confidence, and build a lasting appreciation for the game. Its approach combines coaching and competition with an emphasis on character, discipline, responsibility, fair play, hard work, and dedication. Avalanche aims to create a team-first culture and a positive experience for players, families, and coaches, both on and off the ice.

The club fields travel teams and shares tryout information for prospective players. Its season includes competition at Southern California tournaments; a recent Labor Day event featured 12 Avalanche teams across four tournaments, with one championship and three runner-up finishes. Through its club community, Avalanche promotes respect, integrity, pride, and the pursuit of excellence. The website also offers club and team information, coaching details, news through the Avalanche Gazette and Report, and updates about clinics and other activities.
