Avec Nos Proches is a French nonprofit association dedicated to supporting family caregivers who care for someone affected by illness, disability, or age-related frailty. It welcomes caregivers regardless of their relationship to the person, living situation, or time commitment. Its mission is to listen, accompany, and inform people whose caregiving responsibilities can affect their health, work, and social lives.
Caregivers can call its national helpline at 01 84 72 94 72, where volunteer listeners are available seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Phone-based group workshops let caregivers share experiences without travelling, and the association also offers written support and appointments. Its information and resource library includes tailored guidance and practical tools such as a health journal, planner, and materials on life after caregiving.
Avec Nos Proches also works with healthcare professionals, employers, and support organisations through training, resources for employees who are caregivers, and its Union Allô Aidants listening network.
