Avec soi m'aime

AVEC SOI M’AIME is a nonprofit association based in Mâcon, France, supporting parents and caregivers of children with illnesses or disabilities. Since 2021, it has worked to provide families with a welcoming, supportive place to pause, connect and find practical resources. Its guiding purpose is to care for those who care for others, recognising the demands and often unseen responsibilities of family caregiving.

The association offers personalised support, help with administrative matters and a telephone helpline, alongside listening services and opportunities for families to meet and share experiences. Its activities include parent-and-child workshops, shared gatherings, respite opportunities and wellbeing sessions, such as massage, reflexology and shiatsu. It also provides training for families, professionals and businesses, and shares information about disability, caregiver roles, available rights and useful local services. Through awareness initiatives, AVEC SOI M’AIME highlights the need for respite and greater recognition of family caregivers. Families can access its resources, take part in activities, or support its work through donations and volunteering.
