About Avelune
Avelune is a free, anonymous peer-support community designed to give people a quiet place to share what they are going through and feel heard. Members can choose a username and avatar, without using their real name, and connect with others who understand similar experiences. The platform offers several ways to participate: users can post, comment, send private messages, or signal that they would like to talk with someone about a topic such as anxiety, loneliness, or needing to vent.
Avelune also provides personal wellbeing tools, including a daily mood check-in, a private journal, and mood history to help users notice patterns over time. Search lets people explore posts, members, and resources by keyword or topic, with results not ranked by popularity. Crisis lines, grounding exercises, and trusted links are available without an account. Avelune describes itself as peer support, not a clinical or crisis service, and directs people needing urgent help to trained support.
