About Aventix
Aventix is a Swedish life science instrumentation company focused on accelerating the use of sensor-based technologies in laboratories. Its work aims to help labs generate precise, consistent, structured data that can support bioanalytics, scientific research, and the development of AI. Aventix’s first product, Scarlett, is a high-precision volume measurement system for laboratory plates used in chemical, agricultural, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics research.
It scans full 96- and 384-well plates in seconds and provides volume measurements with sub-microliter accuracy; third-party validation at 10 µL showed deviation under 3%. The system is compatible with ANSI/SLAS-format plates, including standard, high-base, and deep-well formats. Scarlett works with SENSVUE software, which offers real-time data visualisation, anomaly flagging, and exportable reports.
Applications include pharmaceutical screening, agrochemical research, formulation quality control, liquid-handling workflows, genomics, and bioanalytics. By helping researchers identify volume errors, Aventix’s technology supports reproducibility, reduces reagent waste and repeated experiments, and improves data quality. The company provides product information, validation data, and quote requests for laboratories interested in its instrumentation
