About Aventura Investment Partners
Aventura Investment Partners is an impact investor and provider of value-chain services to smallholder farmers in West Africa. Founded in 2010, our mission is to create social businesses and enterprises that support the growth of small farmers in Senegal and beyond. By offering mechanization, inputs, cold storage, and food processing services, we help these farmers increase their annual incomes and transition from subsistence farming to commercial farming.
Our investment focus is on companies that operate in the Input Supply, Production, or Post-Harvest phases of the value chain. We are committed to serving not only Senegal but also Burkina Faso, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, and Togo. Through direct and franchise opportunities, our impact investment fund plans to expand its reach and make a positive difference in the lives of even more farmers.
At Aventura, we are proud of the impact we have made so far. Our packing and cold storage company, Les Saveurs du Sud, has improved family incomes in the Casamance region of Senegal. We have also created employment opportunities for hundreds of women in the area.
