About Les Aventures Liguoriennes
Les Aventures Liguoriennes is a family-run dog-sledding business in Saint-Liguori, in Quebec’s Lanaudière region, about an hour from Montreal. For around 30 years, the team has welcomed visitors to explore the area’s winter landscapes with a pack of 50 Alaskan dogs. Guests can drive their own sled under the guidance of an experienced guide or choose a guided ride, including a double-sled option.
The company offers several outings: La Découverte, L’Escapade, the longer Grande Virée with a forest snack break, and La Nocturne by moonlight. Cani-kart rides provide an additional way to experience the team. Seasonal packages combine dog sledding with Nordic baths or overnight stays in a cabin or chalet through partner businesses, and gift cards are available.
Certified guides, maintained trails, safety procedures, and cold-weather clothing support the outings. The business emphasizes personalized hospitality, environmental care, and the welfare of its dogs, which receive veterinary follow-up and year-round space, training, and attention. Les Aventures Liguoriennes also participates in mid- and long-distance sled-dog races
