A Vet's Menagerie Animal Rescue

A Vet’s Menagerie Animal Rescue is a registered not-for-profit animal sanctuary based in Clackline, Western Australia. Founded by veterinarian Dr Lena Pulbrook, the organisation grew from her early efforts to care for farm animals brought to her clinic in need of help. Its mission is to provide sanctuary, essential health care and adoption opportunities for animals in need, with a particular focus on livestock that can be difficult to rehome and require specialist housing and husbandry.

The rescue also accepts some exotic animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and reptiles, and occasionally takes in small animals such as cats and dogs. For these, it generally recommends specialist cat and dog rescues. A Vet’s Menagerie provides safety, medical attention and ongoing care for its animals, and invites the community to support its work through donations, volunteering and adoption.

The organisation also offers a way to surrender animals and features a shop and gallery. It is registered with the ACNC, endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient and holds a Charity Collections Licence
