AV Feniks

AV Feniks is a growing athletics club based in Amsterdam Zuidoost, welcoming people of all ages and abilities to take part in sport, competition and community activities. Its home is the blue athletics track in Nelson Mandelapark, where members can train in a friendly and forward-looking environment.

The club offers track and field athletics for children from age six, with youth and adult training groups, competitions and opportunities to develop across a range of events. Members can participate in the spring and cross-country competitions, and the club also organizes training activities such as youth camps and introductory sessions. For adults, AV Feniks provides running groups and courses led by qualified trainers, with sessions focused on running technique and fitness. Newcomers can try a training session before joining, and Stadspas holders can also train at the club.

AV Feniks organizes the annual Gaasperplas Run and hosts events including club championships and track meets.
