Aviat

Aviat, the Associazione Volontari Italiani Amici del Togo, is an Italian volunteer association focused on supporting communities in Togo, a country in West Africa. Its work responds to local needs through projects, volunteer activity, and missions. The association organizes medical missions and particularly seeks ophthalmologists, gynecologists, dentists, and general practitioners to contribute their skills.

Aviat’s initiatives cover a range of community needs, including distance sponsorship, women’s projects, wells, dental and eye care, support for orphanages, tailoring, housing, menstrual poverty, food, and entrepreneurship. It also works to send a shipping container to Togo. News and project updates describe efforts such as “Papaounwi Togo,” “A Smile for Everyone,” and “Everyone at the Table.”

People can support Aviat by volunteering, donating, becoming members, participating in distance sponsorship, or directing their Italian five-per-thousand tax contribution to the association. Through these opportunities, Aviat invites individuals to take part in practical efforts to improve lives and provide assistance where it is needed.
