AVIS Calvisano

AVIS Calvisano is a local voluntary blood donation association based in Calvisano, in the province of Brescia, Italy. It promotes blood donation as an act of civic responsibility and solidarity, encouraging people to help others through regular, voluntary donations. The association provides information about becoming a donor and offers an enrollment form that prospective members can submit by email. Applicants are then contacted to arrange a suitability assessment with the medical director.

AVIS Calvisano also helps registered donors manage their donation activities through AVISNet, an app for iOS and Android that lets users view their donor information and book their next appointment. Its website shares donation guidance, including practical reminders about light meals, hydration, avoiding strenuous exercise, and bringing a health card before donating. Visitors can consult the donation calendar, frequently asked questions, documents, and event information, as well as find contact details for the association’s office and collection centre in Calvisano. The organization also welcomes community support and lists collaborations and social media channels.
