Avis Corato

AVIS Comunale Corato is a local branch of the Italian voluntary blood donation association, dedicated to promoting the culture of giving and encouraging community participation in blood donation. Based in Corato, in the province of Bari, the organization helps donors arrange appointments and provides information about donation opportunities, including whole blood collection and plasma donation. Its mobile blood unit also makes it possible to donate outside hospital facilities, bringing donation closer to the community.

AVIS Comunale Corato engages local schools and community groups through educational meetings and donation initiatives, helping people understand the importance of giving blood and supporting a lasting spirit of solidarity. Its news and events highlight activities with students, volunteers, and local workers. The association also offers registered donor members access to selected partner discounts on diagnostic examinations, laboratory services, and insurance. Through practical guidance, outreach, and opportunities to take part, AVIS Comunale Corato encourages people to make donation a meaningful and accessible act of care for others.
