About Avis Regionale Lombardia
Avis Regionale Lombardia is the regional branch of Avis (Italian Association of Blood Volunteers), a non-profit, non-partisan, non-confessional volunteer association. Avis aims to ensure an adequate supply of blood and its components to all patients in need, without discrimination based on sex, race, language, nationality, religion, or political ideology. They also strive to protect the health rights of donors and those in need of transfusion therapy, promote health education and information for citizens, and actively contribute to the development of volunteering and associative programs.
Avis Regionale Lombardia actively participates in international cooperation initiatives. If you are between 18 and 60 years old, in good general health, and weigh at least 50 kg, you can become a blood donor. Avis promotes a future-oriented approach, symbolized by the color yellow, and encourages people to subscribe to their newsletter for updates on their activities and initiatives
