About American Veterinary Medical Foundation
The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) is the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), a prestigious organization in the field of veterinary medicine. With a mission to improve the health and well-being of animals and humans, AVMF develops charitable resources to advance the science and practice of veterinary medicine. AVMF offers a wide range of products and services to support its mission.
Through their impact programs, they provide grants to veterinarians for education, animal welfare, disaster relief, and research projects. Their REACH Animal Care Program offers charitable care for service animals, while their disaster support initiatives help animals and caregivers in times of crisis. AVMF also focuses on research support to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of animal diseases.
In addition to these programs, AVMF provides resources for veterinary practices and caregivers and offers scholarships and awards to veterinary students. With a rich history spanning over 60 years, AVMF continues to make a difference in the lives of animals through the generous support of donors. By giving to AVMF, you can contribute to veterinary research, disaster relief, scholarships, and other vital initiatives.
Together, we can create a brighter future for animals and humans alike
