Avocet Homes is a family-run property developer and construction company creating premium residential homes across North Norfolk, particularly along the coast. Founded in 2010 by local friends Tim King and Chris Mann, the business brings together local builders and craftspeople with a strong focus on quality at every stage of a project. Its developments range from individual plots to small multi-home sites, featuring design-led houses intended to combine style, efficiency and lasting craftsmanship.

Avocet Homes also undertakes private commissions, helping clients turn their ideas into bespoke homes. Through its construction services, the company offers new builds, renovations, extensions and conversions throughout North Norfolk, bringing the same attention to detail to work on clients’ own properties. Projects highlighted by the company include a luxury farmhouse in Docking, a family home using local brick and flint, and a Georgian-style flint home in Burnham Market. From early concepts through construction, Avocet Homes describes its approach as client-centred, aiming to make the building process approachable and deliver homes its clients can be proud of.
