Avon Needs Trees is a brand dedicated to reforesting the Bristol-Avon area. With only 8% woodland cover remaining in the region, Avon Needs Trees aims to reverse centuries of deforestation and combat the climate emergency. Their approach to woodland creation involves planting thousands of trees and purchasing local land to create permanent woodlands.
What sets Avon Needs Trees apart is their strong sense of community and volunteer involvement, with over 1,000 volunteers each year joining them in their mission. They offer various opportunities for individuals, businesses, farmers, corporations, and councils to support their cause through donations, fundraising, and volunteering. If you're a landowner, they even offer the chance to contribute by planting trees on your land.
