The Associação de Voleibol do Porto (AVP) is a regional volleyball association dedicated to promoting and organising the sport in the Porto area. Its work brings together affiliated clubs, players, officials and supporters through competitions, development activities and information for the volleyball community. The association coordinates indoor volleyball events and the Taça AVP, and organises beach volleyball programmes, including the Gira Praia series and regional tournaments for different age groups and veterans.

It also supports minivolleyball through tournaments and events designed to encourage younger players to learn, participate and enjoy the sport. Alongside competitions, the AVP provides information on rankings, results, calendars and regulations, and publishes official notices, decisions, statutes and reports. Its activities include initiatives and courses, as well as referee appointments and arbitration-related information.

The association maintains resources for affiliated clubs and offers access to online portals for the AVP and its clubs. Through these services and events, the AVP supports participation, development and connection across the regional volleyball community
