A vue de truffe

A Vue de Truffe is an association and guide dog school based in Caen, Normandy, serving people who are blind or visually impaired. The organisation trains guide dogs and matches them with people who need support to move around more independently. Its work also includes regular follow-up with each guide dog and its handler, helping both adjust and maintain their partnership. The association’s services are provided at no cost to beneficiaries, with expenses covered by the organisation.

A Vue de Truffe also supports the early stages of a dog’s development through puppy-raising families and offers information about guide dog training and how to apply for a guide dog. Alongside its core work, the association raises awareness about visual impairment, accessibility and the role of guide dogs through public events, information stands, podcasts and educational activities. It invites individuals and businesses to support its mission through donations and community initiatives. By combining dog training, ongoing assistance and public engagement, A Vue de Truffe works to promote mobility and inclusion for people with visual impairments.
