The card has no annual fee and no foreign-currency fee, and can be used at more than 175 million acceptance locations and over two million ATMs worldwide. Customers can apply for a credit limit of up to €4,000, choose a personal PIN and manage their card through an app. Payments are also available through Apple Pay and Google Pay. The card offers flexible repayment options, direct debit from a bank account and cash withdrawals without fees at participating German retailers and at eligible ATMs abroad.
awa7® also connects card use with environmental initiatives. The brand says proceeds generated through card usage support reforestation and forest-protection projects, with a focus since 2025 on German forests.
