About Awaken Studios
Awaken Studios is a part-time art venture founded by Emma, an abstract painter from Singapore. Emma aims to share peace, joy, and hope through her art, inspired by her Christian faith and nature. She started painting abstractly in 2018 and noticed how her artworks had a positive impact on her friends, making them feel happier, more hopeful, and calm.
This experience motivated her to offer her art to a wider audience. Emma builds layers of paint through broad strokes and detailed patterns, using vibrant colors and soft brushstrokes to evoke reflection on the viewer's emotions and life. She believes in using her business to support others and has outlined financial commitments as part of her justice statement.
