阿波おどり会館, located at the foot of Mt. Bizan in the heart of Tokushima City, is a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to celebrating the traditional Awa Odori dance. Since its establishment in 1999, the venue offers a unique experience where visitors can enjoy daily performances, featuring the exclusive troupe "Awa no Kaze" during the day and renowned dancers at night. The performances include an interactive "experience corner," allowing guests to engage with the dance firsthand.
In addition to the lively performances, the 3rd floor houses the Awa Odori Museum, showcasing the dance's rich history and cultural significance through costumes and musical instruments.
