Award Scholar is a scholarship-matching and application platform designed to help students find and apply for funding for college. Students create a profile with details such as their school, academic background, activities, and writing samples. The platform uses that information to identify scholarships they may qualify for, prioritize strong matches, and surface new opportunities as they become available.

Award Scholar also helps streamline applications by reusing saved answers and documents, filling in repeated fields, and generating essay drafts based on a student’s own experiences. Students can review and edit drafts before submitting applications, keeping final approval in their hands. The service includes tools for organizing applications, tracking deadlines and progress, and receiving notifications about application updates and award decisions. Its scholarship listings span opportunities associated with academic interests, leadership, community service, and other eligibility criteria. Award Scholar presents itself as a way to reduce the time and effort involved in scholarship searches and applications, while helping students focus on relevant opportunities and apply without starting from scratch each time.
