About AWS of SA
The Animal Welfare Society SA is dedicated to providing veterinary services to underprivileged and disadvantaged communities in Cape Town. Their fully equipped clinic is open seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays, and offers a wide range of services, from sterilizations to orthopedic surgeries. The society houses over one hundred sick or injured animals at any given time and is committed to sterilizing every animal that comes through their hospital to help reduce the number of strays.
Their Inspectorate team responds to calls for distressed animals, including injured strays, dog fighting, and animal abuse. Additionally, they have an adoption department that takes in strays and unwanted pets to find them loving homes. Each animal is medically assessed, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for ticks and fleas, microchipped, and sterilized before being adopted.
By donating to the Animal Welfare Society, you can help make a difference in the lives of these animals in need
