AWS Eendracht is a watersports association serving the Akkrum and Nes area of the Netherlands. It brings together people interested in sailing and boating, with activities for both adults and young sailors. The association operates the AWS Eendracht marina, welcomes visiting boaters, and provides information about applying for a berth. Its website also offers guidance for passers-by in Dutch, English, and German.
Sailing is central to the club’s programme. Members can take part in the association’s sailing competition, while younger participants can join youth sailing activities, including sessions with Windkracht junior and an AWS youth weekend in Terherne. The club also lists swimming lessons for children and Klompkesilen, an introductory sailing activity for the youngest participants. Other events include a puzzle sailing trip and activities connected with the Akkrumer Jol, a traditional boat featured in the association’s news, register, and history pages. AWS Eendracht shares event dates, organisational information, regulations, and contact details for members and visitors.
